Let’s do it again! We had the 2015 and 2016 vintages of this pinot noir previously and they were such hits, we went back for the 2017. And if I’m being my truest self, I think this one is probably the best of the lot. If you could drink velour, it’d be like this. So freakin’ smooth, so very silky and a bit rich in all the right ways. The fruit is red cherry, raspberry and plum. There’s secondary marks of bergamot, black tea and fresh sap to boot. On top of all that, there’s a subtle earthy savouriness and the finest of tannins to round out the palate. Try not to get excited about this wine, I challenge you.
