Most pinot grigio falls into that ‘yep, pretty good’ category in a tasting lineup. It’s always nice, but rarely exciting. This single vineyard one from the Yarra has enough going on to make you take notice though. It’s got texture to spare, the typical pinot g apple and pear fruit profile, and an underlying hint of gingerbread that really takes it to the next level. We’ll go ahead and slip it into that ‘yep, DAMN good’ category.
