In a region as historical and traditionally rigid as Barolo, it’s so very important to support the up-and-comers. Manzone Giovanni is one of our favourite Barolo producers here at the ‘Fo and has been for quite some time. There’s a young winemaker working there called Francesco Giacosa who has started doing a bit of his own stuff under his eponymous label as a side project. This is his single vineyard Langhe nebbiolo, a wine that gets the same love and attention as the wines he makes for Manzone Giovanni. The wine is spicy with fruit in the blackberry spectrum, all supported superbly by a minerality drawn from the soil. It’s fresh, bright and delicious. And since it’s a Langhe nebb, it’s ready to drink now.

At Vinomofo, and at Starts at 60 we love our wine, but we like to also lead long and happy lives, and be good to the world and the people in it.
We all try to drink responsibly, in moderation, and we really hope you do too.
Don’t be that guy... or person!
