from McLaren Vale
Here’s a producer we’ve been courting for quite a while. They’re one of the big names out of McLaren Vale and have been making great wines for years. This is a cabernet sourced from three different vineyards across the Vale, highlighting the diversity of soils in the region. The wine, buried under a pile of gold medals, features blackberry, raspberry and plum in the fruit profile with a bit of olive, chocolate and light toastiness to round out the palate before giving way to fine dusty tannins on the finish. It’s drinking beautifully well right now, but expect another 8-10 years of prime if you’ve got the patience.
Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence:
* to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (penalty exceeds $8,000).
* for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (penalty exceeds $700)

At Vinomofo, and at Starts at 60 we love our wine, but we like to also lead long and happy lives, and be good to the world and the people in it.
We all try to drink responsibly, in moderation, and we really hope you do too.
Don’t be that guy... or person!
