A powerful wood oil, Black Spruce has a distinct crisp, and refreshing aroma that’s slightly reminiscent of the forest.
Black Spruce Essential Oil has a distinct crisp, and refreshing aroma that’s somewhat reminiscent of the forest.
Native to North America, Black Spruce is part of the pine family, which is where its characteristic fragrance comes from. The oil itself is derived from the needles and branches of the Black Spruce tree through a careful method of steam-distillation.
Black Spruce Oil is perhaps most often used to treat respiratory conditions. Its combination of anti-inflammatory, analgesic and expectorant properties make it useful for comforting a sore throat and clearing mucus and congestion. It is thought to be effective for the treatment of bronchitis, asthma, coughs, colds and the flu.
Known to induce feelings of harmony and balance, Black Spruce Essential Oil contains the chemical component bornyl acetate, which is recognised for its ability to promote deep relaxation and a greater sense of calm.

Have your essential oils or products been tested on animals?
Absolutely not! We pride ourselves on being a completely cruelty-free brand. In addition, all our Zea products have not and will not ever be tested on animals.
Your essential oils cost less than other brands, how can you offer such low prices?
At Zea Essentials, we have established long-standing relations with our essential oil producers over the past 25 years. We pass this experience on to consumers in the form of affordable pricing. We use the same quality essential oils as other companies; we just choose to price our essential oils with the best interest of our customers in mind. By not marking up our essential oils, as many competitors do, we can offer premium quality oils at an affordable price.
Can you guarantee the quality of your essential oils?
Yes we can. With 25+ years of experience in the aromatherapy and essential oil industry, we have a lot of confidence in our supplies from all over the world. We only sell 100% pure essential oils.
Is the quality of Zea Essentials the same as Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) companies?
Absolutely. In fact, in a lot of cases, we actually source our premium essential oils from the same farmers as a lot of the major essential oil corporations from around the world. The only real difference between us and well-known brands on the market is that it is only us - a small Australian family business - with over 25 years experience in essential oils. This understanding of the industry is why we can sell our premium essential oils at such an affordable price.
Are Zea Essentials diluted or watered down in any way?
No. Every essential oil is 100% pure.
